Nanometer Titanium Oxide (TiO2)


Introduction of the Product

These series products of nano titanium dioxide (HTTi) are independently developed by our company and divided into two crystal forms of anatase and rutile with an appearance of white powder. The product has even granularity and the average grain size is less than 100 nm.


Nano titanium dioxide of our company has the properties of good transparency, and excellent absorbency to UVA and UVB, except for the properties of normal titanium dioxide. It also has good properties of chemical stability, thermal stability. Nano titanium dioxide is insolubility in water, organic acid and weak inorganic acid, and solubility in sulfuric acid, alkali and hydrofluoric acid.


Characteristics of the Product

HTTi-01 is kind of nano powder made of TiO2, some of them mixed with metal or metal oxide. Its crystal is anatase, and it may be used for producing photocatalyst. Under the illumination of light of less than 400 nm, the valence electrons of this powder are sent to the conduction band to put the electron and cavity in action with O2 and H2O absorbed on their surface and produce superoxide anion radicals. These radicals have the function of decomposing hazardous gas and organic pollutants through photo catalysis and antisepsis through photo catalysis, and can be widely used in air purification and sewage treatment. Moreover, this product is characterized by low cost, good stability, high photocatalytic activity and wide range of absorption of light wave. HTTiP-C15A and HTTi-01-W both have much higher photo-catalytic activity, they can be used in the field of decomposition the automobile exhaust, increasing fuel combustion efficiency and sewage treatment, etc.

HTTi-02 has good screening function against ultraviolet ray, and its crystal is mixed type with anatase and rutile. It has a good shielding effect on ultraviolet rays, and has a strong sterilization ability under the action of ultraviolet and visible light. It can be widely used in sunscreen cosmetics, coatings, functional chemical fibers and high-grade plastics and other fields.

HTTi-03 has the ability to resist the ultraviolet ray, and the crystal is mixed type with anatase and rutile. It is hydrophilicity. Its grain size is less than 20nm and its specific surface area is more than 50m2/g with fine and smooth feeling and strong comfortable feeling, suitable for sun screening agent in cosmetics. It can be widely used in the coatings, chemical fiber, plastics and textile to enhance the strength anti-aged and improve the property of the materials.

HTTi-04 is the same as the model of HTTi03, but of lipophilicity type.

HTTi-03-H and HTTi-05-Y and HTTi-05-Si are especially developed for cosmetics, both of them are mixed type with anatase and rutile. The model of HTTi-03-H is hydrophilic, while HTTi-05-Y and HTTi-05-Si are lipophilic. We also have rutile TiO2 for cosmetics, like HTTi-03-HS(hydrophilicity), HTTi-04-HS-Y/HTTi-04-HS-Si(lipophilic). These products have very good characteristics of even granularity and more excellent absorbency to UVA and UVB than sun organic screener. They are widely and safely used as inorganic sun screener in the cosmetics and well compatible with other raw materials. They are the ideal additive of the sunscreen, anti-ultraviolet rays cosmetics.

Proposed Quantity

These series of products have a wide range of application and the quantity to be added differs greatly from 0.5-8% at different places for its use. Generally speaking, the quantity to be added is 1-3% for screening agent, 3-5% for whitening and moisture preservation, 3-8% for ultraviolet ray resistance and 2.5% for printing ink and coating. When the place for its use is beyond the above range, the user shall determine the quantity to be added through testing or contact us.

Scope of Application

(1)  UV-resistant material, chemical fiber, plastics, printing ink, coating.

(2) Photocatalyst, self-cleaning glass, self-cleaning ceramics, antibacterial material, air   purification, sewage treatment, chemical industry.

(3) Cosmetics, sunscreen cream, natural white moisture protection cream, beauty and whitening  cream, morning and night cream, moistening refresher, vanishing cream, skin protecting cream,  face washing milk, skin milk, powder make-up.

(4) Coating, printing ink, plastics, foods packing material.

(5) Coating for paper-making industry: used for improving the impressionability and opacity of  the paper and used for producing titanium, ferrotitanium alloy, carbide alloy etc in the metallurgical industry.
